On June 29, 1998, after 91 years of struggle by Peguis First Nation, Canada confirmed it agreed with Peguis that the 1907 surrender of the St. Peter’s Reserve was void and legally invalid due to Canada’s failure to comply with requirements of the Indian Act of 1906.

Our goal is to help improve the quality of life for our Community members both on and off-reserve by making strategic investments of the resources entrusted to us, we can support the social and economic development of our Community.

Consideration will be given to projects and programs that advance the interests and quality of life of Peguis and its members. Community Fund Projects should sustain and improve community infrastructure and/or address the community’s social, economical and physical needs and benefit the beneficiaries
